Descrierea postului
The junior accountant‘s responsibilities mainly refer to the following fields: - Responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the accounting documents; - Responsible for the review / preparation of all primary accounting documents according to local compliance regulations; - Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients (depreciation, prepayments, re-evaluations); - Responsible for the accurate preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports required by the client; - Reviews and checks the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc; - Prepares on a monthly basis supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts, by indicated deadlines; - Prepares the monthly tax returns, by indicated deadlines; - Where applicable prepares accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards or other GAAP required by the client; - Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation and prepares correspondence on the changes in order to inform the clients; - Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to: primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects; - Is able to work well in teams and integrates in the team; - Keeps senior staff informed over the status of the jobs by: -informing on conflicting priorities; -asking for assistance if problems arise; -informing the manager on the capacity of taking more/less work; -informing on progress of assigned tasks; -informing in due time on problems in meeting deadlines.
Cerinte
- Economic university degree;- The job is located at the client premises (13 days) and at TMF premises - At least 1 year experience in accounting (expertise office or accounting department;- Very good English command will be considered an advantage;- Excellent computer skills;- Knowledge of Navision software will be plus;- Communication and presentation skills;- Organised and pro-active attitude.
