Descrierea postului
On behalf of our client, a reputable, international bank, we are seeking a Deputy Director of Risk Management to join their expanding team. The selected candidate will report to the Head of the Risk Management Division, jointly with whom, he/she will oversee the all risk management functions of the bank.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provision of risk advisory and support to the Head of Risk Management Division;• Participate in business reviews to ensure adequacy of risk management processes/systems, keeping abreast of the developments in the business/risk management/regulatory landscape and oversee the relevant risk management reporting; • Promote risk awareness culture in line with the Group strategy;• Ensure implementation and compliance with bank’s risk management policies and procedures;• Conduct reviews to support risk policy development and recommendations.
Cerinte
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or a closely related field;• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in risk management approaches and their application within the context of a bank’s holistic risk management framework; • Familiarity with relevant rules and regulations governing banking activities in Romania;• Ability to lead a team and work with senior/mid level staff;• Good interpersonal and communication skills;• Fluency in Romanian and English.
