On behalf of our client, one of the major multinational companies acting on the Romanian market, we are currently searching for a dynamic, people skilled and self-driven professional suited for the role of Senior Financial Controller (deputy CFO).• Supervise and coordinate the budgeting, controlling and reporting function • Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports according to Group reporting guidelines• Supervise and coordinate various projects in which accounting/controlling and reporting teams are involved • Supervises the preparation and monitoring of CAPEX budgets• Set up a common understanding in the business unit regarding budgetary or financial related information, processes and KPI’s• Responsible for timely and accurate development and delivery of regular management presentations• Liaison with other departments in order to insure delivering of accurate and timely reports• Develop, improve and maintain strong financial controls as well as support other departments in implementing an internal control system according to Sarbanes-Oxley• Develop & maintain external relationships with auditors, tax and legal consultants, bankers and representatives of the tax authorities
Cerinte
• University degree in Finance plus at least 10 years of work experience• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Romanian and US GAAP• ACCA or another international qualification• Excellent computer skills (standard ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & Access)• Ability to manage a finance team of about 10 employees• Strong time management and problem solving skills, process and detail oriented• Strong understanding and analysis knowledge of PL and BS reports, analytical skills• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks • Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential
