On behalf of our client, a French group with solid technical background and broad experience for synchronous generators and motors, we are searching for an Accounting and Financial Controller.
Descrierea postului
The Accounting and Financial Controller coordinates the financial team and ensures quality, compliance, consistency and timeliness of financial data and other management accounting data. Analyses and reports on Units financial positions versus forecast and budget. Reports and allows clear understanding of financial information through the hierarchy using various finance tools. Improves and implements processes with other finance functions, as well as financial processes in or between non-finance functions. Main job responsibilities:• Verify the accuracy of accounting evidence;• Ensures proper implementation and monitoring of finance related Business, Sector or Corporate processes and initiatives;• Validates financial data before submission to ensure compliance with Business, Sector and Corporate issued guidelines;• Ensures accurate and reliable financial information and report the same in a clear understandable way to the management and partners;• Ensures all business reporting deadlines are achieved on time;• Seeks for constant process improvements within and outside the finance function and define new processes for the Financial Department;• Actively contributes with analyses and data input during the annual Budget and all Forecasts as required;• Carries out comprehensive analysis and control of unit results monthly (detail by project and comparison to Budget and previous Forecast for revenues, Margin and Free Cash flow);• Reviews Cost centre controller reports & Overheads by function and nature report before submission;• Reviews and reports Risks and Opportunities on Key Performance Indicator’s in Unit’s Forecast and Budgets.
Cerinte
Ideal candidate:• Accounting or Finance Controlling qualification;• Proven academic abilities;• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience;• Fluency in English;• Knowledge of IFRS;• Sound IT tools practice, preferable SAP knowledge;• Sound accounting knowledge and experience (e.g. Chartered Accountancy qualification, Some accountancy practice);• Experience in Controlling activities (e.g. Calculation of recovery rates, Cost Centre accounting, Cash Flow Management);• Understanding of accounting and reporting systems;• Principles of Internal Controls;• Experience in Management accounting and analysis;• Integrity, deadline driven, pro-active, active team-player, results-oriented.
